About Us

Our work begins and ends with our dedicated team. We don't just build landscapes; we engineer enduring outdoor environments.

A Note from the Owner

I got my start in this industry at twelve years old, mowing lawns around the neighborhood. What started as a summer job eventually turned into a career as I joined a local crew and spent years learning the technical side of landscape and hardscape construction.

In 2021, I started BCH Landscapes LLC. Now, as I head into my 13th year in the trade, and the 5th year running my own company, we are transitioning the business to Boulder Creek Outdoor Living. The name change reflects how much we’ve grown and our focus on high-end outdoor construction, but it’s still the same team and the same dedication to quality that we’ve had since day one.

Built for the Northland

Living in Northern Minnesota and Wisconsin, we deal with a climate that is notoriously hard on stonework. Every member of my team is focused on one primary goal: ensuring your outdoor space stays beautiful and functional for decades. We take the time to get the small details right—the stuff you can't see underground—so that your project can withstand the severe freeze-thaw cycles we get every year.

A Long-Term Partnership

I don’t believe in just finishing a job and disappearing. We stay with our projects long after the final paver is set through our maintenance contracts. Whether it’s a residential backyard or a commercial property, we want to make sure your investment is protected and your gardens thrive year after year.

We’re proud to serve our neighbors from Duluth and Superior up to the Range and the North Shore. I look forward to continuing to work with our valued clients and this community for a long time to come.
